Runs well and has been a reliable hauling truck. It’s slow, but pulls heavy loads really well. I’ve mostly used it around town for dump runs and hauling.
Mechanically, it’s in good shape. A few months ago, I had my mechanic inspect it and repair the issues they found. They fixed a coolant leak and replaced the belts. It also has new brakes, batteries, coolant hoses, and good tires. I’ve owned it for about 10 years and have never had any major issues with it.
The shifter also has an issue and could use repair, but the truck still goes into gear and drives fine.
Cosmetically, the paint is worn and there is a thin coat of rust on the roof. The body is otherwise pretty straight, with no major dents or dings. The rear bumper is slightly pushed in on one side from backing into a landscaping rock.
The interior is fair for its age, with a couple cracks in the dash/plastic. It needs new window motors, and the passenger-side door handle needs to be replaced. When replacing the handle, the interior door components could use some WD-40 to keep things moving smoothly.
All lights work and the truck is road-ready. I’m selling because it’s huge and takes up my whole driveway. Otherwise, it’s a great old diesel work truck for hauling, dump runs, and local use.
