I have a Pride mobility scooter with the 8 AH lithium battery. Most mobility scooters come with the heavier sealed lead acid batteries, which only let you use about 50 or 60 % of their capacity before they have to be recharged. On the other hand, the lithium battery is lighter and can use all of its charge up during use. This unit is in great shape, being only about 2 1/2 years old with very little use. Features a 4 spring suspension, front cargo basket, headlight, horn, and a 20" wide seat that swivels to make it easy to get in. Seat and steering column are fully adjustable. It goes up steep hills without any problems. Range is 5 to 10 miles minimum based on uphill use and speed. Very dependable. Currently, this costs about $1600 new.
