Young Muscovy duck drakes and hens. $18 each. These ducks are quiet, cooing more than quacking and prolific breeders. also fun pets that wag their tails when happy. Exhibit a multitude of colors and patterns. A small tub is all the water they need. Also great eating with a mild, red meat close in taste to beef. Very lean and tender if prepared correctly. Originally from South and Central America where they were domesticated 100s of years ago. This is perhaps the only domestic duck not derived from the mallard. In some ways closer to a goose.
