1-2 Research Assistant Positions Available (in Oregon)

Seeking Research Assistant for our National Institute on Drug Abuse-funded clinical trial in Wasco & Umatilla Counties in Oregon. Position involves conducting research interviews in the community (e.g., homes, local libraries). This clinical trial is for a new approach to delivering a proven treatment for 12-18 year olds with substance abuse and arrest histories. Research participants include 12-18 year olds, their caregivers, and county Juvenile Probation Officers.
Hours: Options: 1) Hourly position covering Umatilla County; 2-7 hours/week as needed; 2) Hourly position covering Wasco County; 2-7 hours per week as needed; 3) Hourly with benefits (HWB); covering Umatilla AND Wasco Counties; Half-time 17.5 – 20 hours per week, excellent benefits.
All options include 20-30 hours of paid training.
2 years education beyond high school with coursework appropriate to the position and 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience appropriate to the position. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must use own vehicle for travel to participant’s homes. Mileage paid at current federal rate.
